Welcome Dave: The Water Wombat, who happens to be one of the finest wave riders on the planet. Dave has made a life and livelihood out of reading and riding water. He founded the NGO Surfers For Cetaceans on a mission to stop whaling and introduce positive whale tourism solutions, and mostly refused to make concrete plans for the future out of respect for ocean conditions.
Dave loves to observe, marvel and immerse himself in nature, particularly the ocean where he is considered a fish or dolphin himself. His extraordinary ocean connection and surfing ability to read waves is legendary. Dave today is a surf ambassador for Patagonia and continues to speak or act on behalf of nature and the environment. He is a natural community leader, due to his actions and informed articulate voice of reason. Dave has a wicked sense of humour so when you chat to him there is always a good laugh but you come away with a profound, poignant piece of wisdom to embed into your daily life.
