Welcome Lauren: Lauren Hill is a professional free surfer, eco-feminist, mother and an author who is also profoundly wise and naturally lighthearted. Backed by degrees in Environmental and Social Science, she develops projects that revolve around the power of storytelling to build community and inspire action to protect our planet.
Lauren has the ability to challenge the status quo by asking topical questions that raise awareness on women’s surfing, prejudice, social and environmental issues in a lighthearted but provocative manner that develops healthy discussion.
A passionate ocean advocate, Lauren launched the @waterpeoplepodcast five years ago with her partner Dave with the intent to gather our global ocean community and to dive into the critical conversations of our culture - through storytelling.
