Welcome Jana & Pierre-Louis: Jana Kirn is a talented photographer, videographer, and art director based in the Northern Rivers of Australia. Born and raised in Florida’s Gulf Coast, her coastal upbringing fostered a love for the ocean and the outdoors which she captured through photography at the age of 16 when her mother gifted her a film camera.
Jana previously worked full time for a major US fashion brand, focusing on photography and creative direction. She has since transitioned into a successful freelance career where she collaborates closely with her partner Pierre-Louis. After meeting in 2020 after COVID and spending all of their free time surfing together, Pierre-Louis began assisting Jana on shoots and now also works as her second camera on jobs. Pierre-Louis brings a natural creative eye and strong work ethic which helps Jana’s ability to execute.
Originally from Brittany, France, Pierre-Louis shares Jana’s love for the ocean and helps regenerate local land when he’s not on set or surfing. Together, they split their time between Australia, Maui, Florida, and France, balancing work and visits with family.
