3 simple tips for selecting bar stools It’s an overwhelming experience selecting the right bar stool for your space, so we’ve put together three of the most important tips to make your selection easier: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. Height – Let’s make sure those legs fit under the bench. Allow 25 - 30cm between bench height and seat height. A standard kitchen bench or mid height leaner is 90cm H so you need a stool that’s 65cm. A high bench or bar leaner is 105cm, so pair this with a 75cm stool. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Footprint – Guest comfort is key, give them space to breathe. We recommend allowing a minimum of 60cm between for elbow room or for a roomier feel allow up to 70cm. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Style – Consider your environment and how they will be used. Do you need a stacking stool for cleaning or storing, do they need a back for extra support, is it going to be used indoors or outdoors?
