This modern alpine home, set near Mt Iron in Wānaka, is a refined expression of light, texture, and everyday living. Designed by Johnston Architects, the home balances crisp architectural lines with warm, tactile materials to create a space that feels calm, grounded, and connected to its surroundings.

A pavilion-style living area opens at both ends, allowing the home to shift effortlessly with the seasons. Timber finishes, soft furnishings, and a natural palette bring warmth and depth, while large openings draw in light and frame the landscape beyond.
