Being in the beauty industry (especially acne) with photos that are edited, filtered faces, and body images shaped, it can give people unrealistic expectations. At CLEARSTEM we always stand for realness. We stand for educating our CLEARSTEM family on health, wellness, acne & aging, and mental wellness. We are here to support our team and our consumers (the CLEARSTEM fam!).
With that said we decided to join the National Alliance on Mental Illness (@namicommunicate) and their "StigmaFree Pledge" for the beauty industry. The StigmaFree Campaign is NAMI's effort to end stigma and create hope for those affected by mental illness. Through powerful words and actions as individuals and a company, we can shift the social and systemic barriers for those living with mental health conditions. Together, the beauty industry can encourage acceptance and understanding. As a company, we will do this both internally and externally through our social channels and communication.
