A few years ago I watched a video on a girl who keeps all her trash in a mason jar (?@trashisfortossers.) My eyes were opened to the atrocity that is single-use plastic and the sad future of our wonderful planet. ? Ever since I’ve been quietly doing things to lower my impact… like stopping paper towel use (much to my house guests dismay), buying toilet paper in bulk from office supply stores (to forgo the plastic wrap), awkwardly navigating bulk grocery isles and composting in my apartment. I’m not perfect, and there are some categories I’m still working on switching (like beauty products!!) but I am making an honest effort to do better. I realize I don't post many captions of substance (haha), and I tend to keep it lighthearted– but here’s me raising my reusable @keepcup to sharing my journey to a more sustainable, less consumer-driven lifestyle.
