Lori is an Elementary Music Educator in Bryan, Texas, and was nominated by her sister, Lyndi. After several years of teaching kindergarten and 2nd grade, Lori found her passion and has spent the last nine years in music education. 🎵👩🏫💕 Lyndi says, “Lori wrote and gifted the school with its first school song and founded The Kemp Notables - an after-school glee club focused on building confidence and ability through local performance! This specific program was groundbreaking at her school, as it was the first of its kind.” 🎤💯✨
The glee club has transcended expectations! Lyndi says, “Enrollment for kids wanting to join far exceeded what anyone had planned, and its success can be read, not only in numbers from year to year, but in the smiles and joy emanating from each of her performers.” 😀🌟
Not only is Lori lifting the lives of her students at school, but she also is positively impacting youth involved in the local community theater. 🎭 Lyndi says, “Lori has championed for childhood and youth community performance art, as well.” She’s involved in “set design/production/management, administrative duties and even mastering the lighting and soundboard controls to ensure quality productions for all the kids involved.” 💡🔈
