Our Diego Leather is a natural vegetable tanned leather. Diego develops a beautiful, rich patina over time and with exposure to sun and water ☀️🌊
The leather will burnish to a buttery tan hue which makes each piece unique and representative of your journey. You can speed up the darkening process, by leaving the bag in the sun and flipping it to all sides to give it a nice even tan. You can also take a damp cloth and wipe the leather evenly all over to darken the leather, and it's a great way to even out any water spots or uneven spots if you prefer a more solid look.
Leather oil and creams also work to help even out give it a bit of water resistance. Testing products and any of the recommendations above on the inside or small area is always a good idea ❤️
