Loren is a Career and Technical Education teacher from Sunset, Texas. She was nominated by her friend, Velvet. Velvet says, “I met Loren almost 10 years ago when we both started a new job. We had so much in common and became instant friends. The one thing that stood out to me in Loren was her huge heart. One of our ex-coworkers found out she needed a kidney transplant. Loren found out about our friend's need through Facebook and felt led to help. Within a few months, Loren was tested and discovered she was a match. Without hesitation, Loren selflessly donated a kidney to our friend.” ❤️😇✨
Velvet continues, “Loren is such an amazing and beautiful soul. She is a constant reminder of what it means to give without expecting anything in return. I am so honored to call Loren my friend and watch how she continues to make this world RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME!!!!” 🥳💃
Regarding a mantra she follows, Loren says, “I can’t think of a specific mantra that I live by. I do however live my life without regret and with complete trust in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Every decision I make is with the confidence as a child of God. The choice to give my kidney to my beautiful friend, Rosa, was an easy one because I had a complete sense of peace that could only be divine.” 🌈💗
