Carla is the Founder and CEO of Bochy's.org, and was nominated by her daughter, Jade. Bochy's Place is a safe home for girls rescued from Sex Trafficking, providing a Christ-centered, trauma-informed, family environment where survivors of sex trafficking find healing. Jade says, “Carla lives with a passion to build women into the very best they can be. From complete brokenness to total restoration, her vision is to equip and educate women at the root level with easy-to-understand skill sets necessary to rebuild or enhance their day-to-day lives. She does not focus on the past of their trauma, she focuses on their future and building them into the wives, moms, and businesswomen they want to be.” ⚡️⚡️
When she is not pouring into the residents at the Bochy's Place safe home, she is working on executing her large vision to open 700 beds in 7 years to create more spaces for survivors to receive their healing,” Jade says. “There is only 1 bed for every 3,773 victims of sex trafficking in the United States. She feels a call on her life to provide those spaces to the survivors. She is fully dedicated to this mission and is the one person that truly deserves recognition for her hard work.” ❣️🥰
