Christina Elbitar is a HERO and someone who gracefully keeps things moving when everyone else is trying to figure out where step #1 is. She is humble in her ability to manage 3 businesses (a restaurant, a residential real estate developer, and an accountant), keeps a household, AND is an amazing foster mom of 2 rambunctious toddlers who bring so much joy to her household.💕 Christina owns Café Chadra with her husband, Chef Nehme Elbitar. They have been in business for 20+ years, surviving a recession and the pandemic. She's kept them afloat by adapting to change, creatively utilizing resources, and caring for her staff like family.🥰 Her nurturing spirit is always available to her employees and their families.❤️
She takes care of the administrative side of their businesses, including the accounting and pitch hitting as a cook, still making time to volunteer and mentor young Latinas preparing for college! As a volunteer for 10+ years with the Hispanic Women's Network of Texas – FW. Christina co-created the Latinas in Progress program, a group mentoring program for Latina high school seniors in Tarrant County! The year-long program walks students through the college admissions process, financial aid, and life skills. Christina is also a board member of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She guides young entrepreneurs to help them through the hurdles of city permitting and owning a business.
Christina and Nehme became foster parents 2 years ago! They have done this without question or doubt and with so much love in their hearts. The amount of training, tests, and interviews it takes to become a foster parent is rigorous. They never gave up and Christina is the most amazing foster mom alongside Nehme! The love they provide to their children is beyond compare!❤️
