Chiapas is one of our favorite areas to visit. We work with artisans in many small towns throughout the state. The mountain countryside is incredibly beautiful and green, and the people are welcoming and warm. Many of them only speak their indigenous language, so one person in the community often represents the group. We have worked with Rosa for more than 10 years, making all of our friendship bracelets and weavings. She works with up to 200 women from surrounding villages. These amazing women cook, take care of the children, and help work the crops at critical points throughout the year. In between all of that, they are constantly using their hands, making these beautifully woven textiles. We are so honored to be able to share this work and document their journey.
