Ever since we watched a documentary on childhood hunger that inspired us to start cuddle+kind, it has been our goal to provide Plumpy’Nut, a therapeutic food that saves children’s lives by treating severe acute malnutrition.
Severe malnutrition in young children is life-threatening: a drastic loss of body fat and muscle, deficiencies in protein, energy, minerals and vitamins, all which require critical care.
Plumpy’Nut is proven to be 95% effective at saving children’s lives. It’s truly incredible! But, many humanitarian agencies do not have enough Plumpy’Nut to feed every child who needs it.
