Why we’re on a mission to feed children in need.✨ Shortly before our youngest daughter was born, we watched a powerful documentary that opened our eyes about childhood hunger. We were shocked to learn that millions of children die of malnutrition every year and millions more suffer from food insecurity.⠀
.⠀
As parents, we believe all children should have enough food to eat and the opportunity to thrive. Our company’s purpose is to help improve the lives of children and to make a difference. We’ve created a growing collection of unique, ethically-made, hand-knit dolls that children love. For every doll sold, we provide 10 meals to children in need through four incredible humanitarian agencies: World Food Program USA, Children’s Hunger Fund, Breakfast Club of Canada and WE Charity. ⠀
.⠀
In addition to providing meals, we chose to have our dolls lovingly made by hand by talented artisans, not mass produced. It was also important to us that we provide our knitters with a fair trade income so they could care for themselves and their families.⠀
.⠀
Thank you for supporting our family’s social business. Together, we’ve provided over 9.6 million meals in four years! Nothing makes us happier than seeing your littles loving our dolls - thank you for making our dreams come true! ✨{📸:@ravenvasquezphoto } #littledollsbigimpact #1dollequals10meals #cuddleandkind #onemillionmeals #fairtrade
