Introducing Michelle Obama (who needs no introduction): Originally from Chicago, Michelle Robinson studied at Princeton before attending Harvard Law School and working as an intellectual property lawyer at the firm where she met her husband. After marrying Obama in '92, she worked for Chicago's Planning department until '96. From there she became associate dean of student services at the University of Chicago, later working on her husband's campaign as he ran for president.
As first lady she worked toward ending childhood obesity in America—by promoting education around healthier diets overall—supported families of the military, and more. Her memoir, Becoming, came out at the end of 2018 with high acclaim.
