Introducing June Fletcher:
Part of Princeton's first co-ed class in 1969 June Fletcher was one of the first 100 women to attend the university.
The male alumni protested the women's presence with the argument that it would "destroy the studious atmosphere," and because Fletcher had previously been awarded Miss Bikini U.S.A., she was one of the more publicized individuals of the group. But the day of the protest, Fletcher cheekily flaunted one of their "Bring Back The Old Princeton" badges herself. After studying English Literature there, she later went on to work as a business and financial columnist—which she still does today.
