We support the movement to fight against the murdering of unarmed Black people, Brown people and minorities. We are in solidarity with Black Lives Matter. We acknowledge and stand in opposition to the racism, pain, fear and injustice that has gone unanswered in this country for far too long. We created CUUP to redefine the way we look and feel about our bodies. That mission requires demanding justice for all those who live in fear because of the color of their skin. ⠀

Stating our support is not enough. We have made and are continuing to make donations to the @aclu_nationwide and @blmlosangeles, as well as continuing to match employee donations as we work together to learn about the many incredible organizations that need our support in this evolving landscape. ⠀

We are committed to using CUUP’s platform to amplify Black voices in our community and educate on issues of injustice and rally voter support at the local and state level. We have work to do. ⠀

We are committed to active internal reflection and ongoing accountability as we realign CUUP’s core values from the inside out. This reflection, both individual & organizational, is the commitment that will take the most time and most collaboration, but is the effort that will create lasting change.
