I have to be honest, if I could choose the flooring in my house all over again, I definitely wouldn’t have chosen the dark walnut. I really wanted the same flooring throughout the ground floor but as we did room by room, I didn’t think ahead to the kitchen. This was the last room we renovated and that would have meant a dark floor kitchen. In an ideal world it would be a real light oak herringbone flooring but I’d settle for something more hard wearing like Amtico or Karndean throughout. Oh well, maybe in the next house or if I win the lottery, a girl can dream x.. .
