Renovation progress alert! The built-in alcove cupboards and shelving either side of our marble Edwardian fireplace in the sitting room are DONE! Lee from freeborn_carpentry did a brilliant job (thanks for the recommendation gold_is_a_neutral 👊🏻) - hop over to my Stories to see the finished (unpainted) furniture. And so with those shelves built we needed another task for Lee (the poor man's going to be busy in our house till next summer - a small Pink House Dweller was this morning heard to remark: 'is Lee going to be LIVING with us now?' to which the answer was: 'ideally, yes.')
