Kitchen and Utility update: it’s painted! 😂
I’m actually really enjoying painting and the whole process of feeling like you’ve achieved something, rather than staring at a computer screen. So if you want to redecorate or have a plain white box of a new build and want me to do it, send me a message.
The kitchen is slowly but surely getting there, we have a couple of seamstresses coming to measure up to provide us with a quote for a Roman blind (in the same fabric as the curtains we’ve ordered).
We will also at some point change the radiator to a tall anthracite one, like we’ve done in our hallway. However, our plumbing skills don’t extend to shortening pipes, so we’ll have to get someone in for this one!
I’m also waiting to hear back from a few kitchen companies regarding a crown moulding/cornice for the top of our wall units, and I would like some new handles.. but I don’t think I’m likely to get permission 😂
Oh and I will be doing the gloss work (skirting, architraves and doors) soon. They’ll finally all match and look clean and fresh.
