Note to self; creating our home is a marathon not a sprint.
I’ve been a bit absent on here recently and I couldn’t pinpoint why. But to be honest I think it’s because I’ve been comparing our home to others I see on here and it’s stalled me a bit. I come here for inspiration and I love following other people’s amazing journeys but I get myself down wondering why we don’t have the dream kitchen yet, the landscaped garden, or the beautiful bathroom yet - but that’s life, these goals are achieved at different stages, all of our personal lives are completely different, we only see the best bits, and we, ourselves, have a load of hurdles to cross before we can continue with certain Reno projects - but we’ll get there! But at the forefront of my mind is that I do love what we have created so far, and I’m so grateful that we have a roof over our heads and are safe between these walls. 🤍
