It’s not often we post the kitchen/diner from this angle…
When we first saw the Geddes show home we loved the huge living space to the rear of the house.
Things we did to make the space our own:
1. Change the solid panel door to this full glass one - keeps the flow throughout the downstairs of the house and light floods in from both sides
2. Change the radiators from white to anthracite to add a bit more depth to the stark white room.
3. Add a bar in matching Silestone (Lagoon) with a fridge, more storage and a wall mounted TV for the ultimate breakfast bar/entertaining area
4. The remaining Silestone went into the storage cupboard to make a utility area - our tumble dryer, washing products and a microwave live there, hidden away from sight.
5. Tiled flooring throughout the downstairs - we opted to do this after we got the keys as we wanted a herringbone floor but also wanted tiles. See our previous posts for details!
6. Plain white roller blinds and matching grey pelmets over both windows and the patio doors for simplicity but also add depth!
