New Sofa Reveal!
What do you think of the new lighter toned, L-shape vibe?
It took me two seconds to chose the CAVE sofa from lofthomefurniture , and about two weeks to decide on a fabric 😂 there were so many amazing options, and I actually went far lighter than I’d initially considered…and I just LOVE it! This sofa serves up the perfect balance between minimalism and comfort.
Also on the love-list is how wide the chaise is. We had two sofas and a footstool here previously, but they just didn’t work in such a small open-plan space. The CAVE sofa is large enough for the entire family to sit on at once, but doesn’t take over the room.
I always get asked for advice on what to bring and leave when moving overseas and I’ve learnt from experience that what suits one home and climate won’t necessarily fit in the other.
We brought EVERYTHING over as I didn’t want to repurchase, however in hindsight I’d advise that if you have somewhere to store or are happy to sell, leave your large furniture pieces and buy new (or secondhand) once you arrive in your new home.
