I really wanted a lighter, sleeker and more minimalist sofa, however was initially unsure how to achieve this without sacrificing on comfort. All the japandi-aesthetic styles I liked seemed quite low, and potentially impractical for a family.
However, this Cave sofa from lofthomefurniture ticks every box - it has a lower back and sloping arm rests but is incredibly comfortable, almost like a memory-foam mattress that just cradles you as you sit. It’s firm but still soft, so rather than unhealthily slumping my back into it, the back supports and encourages good posture when sitting.
The Cave somehow perfectly suits all of us, from my 6ft6 husband, to my 5 year-old!
