We are elated to see Vogue’s first unretouched cover! 💯 When we decided to stop retouching women at Darling 10 years ago we only dreamed this would happen with some of the biggest magazines in the world. The influence that we carry and the responsibility to show women in a real light is heavy and important. Cheers 🥂 @voguegreece. We agree with Vogue Greece's editor-in-chief Thaleia Karafyllidou’s comments on this decision: “The fashion industry is responsible for unrealistic images, for almost plastic women, for bodies like those of the dolls we used to play with as children – flawless, and ageless. These standards have taken root deeply in the conscience of many generations and have led women to exhausting diets, and, unfortunately, all kinds of surgeries and operations in order for them to achieve the "perfect" body. In this issue, all our editorials, as well as the portraits of people featured, have not undergone even the slightest editing, so that we can get one of the most important messages of our time across: that nobody is perfect and that this is not a problem.” #thatsdarling
