Hi Darling followers! If you’re new to our account, we’d like to say hi and take a moment to explain what Darling is all about. We started in 2011 as a response to the negativity, shallow advice and unrealistic standards of beauty we saw out in the media world. We launched our business on Kickstarter and started with our blog and our first print issue. We took a leap as the the first U.S. magazine to ban retouching of women’s skin and bodies, and in the beginning got quite a lot of backlash from it, but still persisted, believing that it was the way forward. We also were on the forefront of diversity representation in our photo shoots, making the strong statement that beauty isn’t as narrow as it had been made in the media. Since our first print issue, we’ve done 24 more issues, over 2,500 blog posts, launched events and created products. Everything we strive to do revolves around helping women feel seen, loved and valued exactly as they are. We hope to give solid wisdom and advice and stand up for what’s right—love, justice, mercy and generosity. In the midst of a crazy world, we seek to focus on what’s important, be a place of peace and a breath of fresh air. We hope you are encouraged when you come to our page, read our blog, or purchase our products...and we long for the day when we can gather in person for events. If you have a friend who needs to hear the message of Darling or follow our feed, tag them below. ❤️ Love to you all, Sarah Dubbeldam (@ladydubbs), Darling’s Founder - This amazing desk (that we wish we had in our office!) is made by @terraandtint
