Q: Share an embarrassing moment or funny story.
A: Michael: Since we’ve been married I’ve been hearing of Staci’s one time affinity for Beanie Babies. She would talk about her large collection and how to this day she can still remember all of their names. A few months ago I found out Staci made Beanie Baby movies with her parents home video camera. I got to watch some of said videos and they were hilarious! Basically she left 30 second reviews for each one of her Beanie Babies but they were all really positive and she said how cute each one was about 50 times. It was definitely a new level of trust in our relationship. In a couple years I get to see the video of her meeting Orlando Bloom! I can’t wait!
A: Staci: I’m a Disney fanatic (putting it lightly), and I knew that whoever I was going to marry would have to at least equally enjoy it themselves or lovingly tolerate my obsession for the entirety of our lives together...So when we first started dating, I invited Michael to go to Disneyland with my family for vacation over the summer. To save money, we were all going to stay in the same hotel room; with two queen beds. My parents had a bed, my sister and her husband had a bed, and I slept on a cot at the foot of my parents’ bed. Michael slept on the floor next to my dad. I mean… anyone willing to sleep inches away from your girlfriend’s father for A WEEK is nothing less than supremely brave and utterly impressive. So yeah, he got HUGE brownie points for that.
