<p><span>What do you do? The question that seems to pop up after exchanging names and pleasantries in almost any social situation. Beyond the its not what you do its why you do it angle that I’ve previously discussed, we should focus on the intrinsic rewards appeal to us. We may not be able to find those in careers where what we are doing is our focal point. </span></p> <p><span id="docs-internal-guid-053d7aed-e386-7325-279b-0a85e75bb1b8"><br/><span></span><span>Another way to put it is would you rather a boring job in a cool industry and an engaging job in a boring industry? The realization I came to was that starting and running a business, determining your market and getting your product to them was in itself what I want to do. Not because of the money, but because the challenge of convincing someone that your idea is worth paying for is rewarding. </span></span></p>
