Still working on that handstand? Try hopping up with both legs, rather than one at a time ? It's another way to enter into a handstand, and I actually find it easier to find my balance and hold it this way! Always aim with your hips ? Not your feet, hop up and aim to get your hips over your shoulders. Start with your hands on the floor, directly under your shoulders, pushing hard into the ground - tucking your ribs in and belly button toward your spine. And then jump both feet off the ground and aim your hips up and over your shoulders ? In this video I show 4 variations: 1) Little hop up, without holding the handstand. Even if you don't hold it, these hop ups are great practice for your shoulders and core for when you do hold it! Try and get 3 sets of 10 hops! 2) Hop up and hold in a tuck handstand. 3) Little hop up and hold in a straddle handstand. This is when you jump up and immediately open your feet out to the side with your legs straight. And 4) Hop up to balance, and then slowly transition into a straight hold. ? These are really fun!! Also one of my favourite shoulder and core burners ?? #handstandlove
