Today as I was cleaning up my room I caught a glimpse of my old oil paints that I haven't used probably since high school. I climbed up and got them down and just began to paint. Oh man. It was so wonderful.
I rediscovered the fact that I, am a creative heart ✨
I love to create; to paint, to draw, to write, to explore and to move. I love looking for the beauty in the everyday.
Somewhere in amongst a lot of study, a job that doesn't really ever stop and a huge amount of change in relationships + friendships the last year, I think I just forgot. I had to get used to essays and being accurate, to closing some chapters and to being guarded, and I guess art isn't really conducive in that place.
So here's to today, to opening up a section of my heart that's been hidden for too long. I can't wait to see what it creates ?
