♡ THE STORY ABOUT DOROTEAPERSONAL ♡
You asked, so here it is - a short story about my five years journey here on Instagram with you. 💜
1 📷: If you're new here, hi, my name is Dorotea. I am a nutritionist, engineer in the making and a yogi all in one.
2 📷: The main reason why this account was created was for me to learn more about yoga, but I had no clue how many people would join me on my journey. The very first pose I have ever managed to achieve was #mermaidpose so it became my signature sign. I remember doing it everywhere. People recognized the mermaid in me so I got this cartoon of me as a gift.
3 📷: I was really neither flexible nor bendy. But over the years I was determined to push my limits and so with each day I became better and better. I am just like you, trust me.
4 📷: In 2016 I was put on the list of world's 13 body positive Instagram accounts. 😱 I've simply always believed you can do whatever you set your mind to, no matter your shape or size. This was the year of me becoming a poppilatesofficial instructor as well.
5 📷: In 2017, I was chosen as a croatian November best instagram account of the month and got to share my story through an interview.
6 📷: Along the way, I've met so many people and made so many friendships all over the world (wish IG would let me share more photos!). Some of us also travelled to Greece to meet and to shoot photos for arthleticwear. This was a summer to remember forever. 💜
7 📷: I've also had the opportunity to meet one and only kinoyoga from who I got to learn so much. 🙏🏼
8 📷: In 2018, November, I was contacted by american cosmopolitan that they wanted to feature my photo in womenshealthmag. 😱
9 📷: 2018 was also the year of me graduating in nutrition science. 👩🏼🎓
10 📷: 2018 was one of those years which you both love and hate. This was the year of rediscovery, the year when doroteasworld became doroteapersonal and the year of so much more.
Five years later, here I am, teaching yoga, teaching others what I once had no clue about, doing collaborations I once only dreamed about and still sharing what I love. Thank you for being here with me all those years and to many more. ♡
