I know how easy it is to feel defeated after dealing with darkness...with moments that rock our souls

I used to allow the darkness to take over me in these moments, usually until I got too tired of being so tired

But now I choose light. I choose joy. And instead of allowing feelings of defeat to take hold, I consciously open the door to gratitude. Baby girl has given us lots of scares, but it makes me even more eager to meet and love her forever 🌹
