Today I had to bury a poor little bird after my cat caught it on our little apartment balcony (I don't know how!). I tried to save the poor thing but I was too late. I was absolutely devastated. 😠I know it is part of nature and that cats hunt birds but I couldn't help but cry (for quite some time!). With all the devastating loss of wildlife in Australia, due to the bush fires, I couldn't help but feel so overwhelmed by sadness. I was feeling sad not just for this bird but for all the wildlife that have suffered and are suffering right now in Australia.
PS: ignoring my cat for a while! Grr.... 😫 Not impressed...
