We've been fielding questions about the finish on our wood furniture lately, due to its non-shiny appearance. So we thought we'd share some info here.

All of our wood furniture is treated with a safe, non-toxic GREENGUARD-certified finish. Because the finish is water-based, it may not have the typical sheen or coating effect you might be used to seeing. Despite the raw appearance, we can assure you that the wood has been treated, sealed and is safe to use. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Why do we use GREENGUARD-certified finishes? Because they meet the world’s most stringent standards for low pollutant emissions and help ensure healthier air quality inside your home. They are more costly to use but we think they are worth the cost. We want Dims. furniture to stand the test of time, without polluting your home like cheaply made "fast furniture" tends to do.
