This was my expression for most of the weekend. Soon I'll look back on Elfin Lakes hike as a great weekend, but I'll have to wait until my body stops aching. The views were spectacular, but the tour was long and strenuous. I have ski toured only twice, both for about 45 minutes. This was a 5 hours hike to the hut from the bottom lot, and a 50 pound backpack on with an inflamed hip flexor and normal ski boots. #rookie I think it was the biggest challenge I've faced, pushing through pain most of the time, popping Advil, and my knees feeling like they were 80 years old. Next time ill be packing lighter.
