From @dannydixxon - . To my fellow Fathers, . I’ve left the hospital after the proudest moments of our lives and have too felt the fear, the pride, the emotion , the unknown that is all mashed together when we become Dads. . No hormonal change, we walk in a hard working , probably somewhat lost and possibly intoxicated or exhausted kid, and walk out a man with a gigantic responsibility that has zero directions . . . Being a father , is the hardest and most stressful thing I’ve ever done in life. It’s also the most rewarding and the most proud moments of my entire life come from these two boys of mine. . . We are simple men. Hard working men. Men who bust their knuckles, their bodies , and their brains to put food in front of our children and all have the common unity that we do these things to give our children more than what we had and teach them more than we knew. . . . In this time more than ever before , remember the importance of a solid upbringing. The importance of the balance of laughter and strict discipline . We are a large part of what shapes the next generation, and we must remain aware that this job is of utmost importance . Raise our children with respect , morale , and pride in whom they create themselves to be, not to whom they are born. We are to create the best generation that ever walked this earth. Together , we can do that . . . . To all the dads out there, to all the moms covering overtime for the dads who didn’t step up to the plate...our future is in our children. . . Thank you all, we appreciate you. Happy Fathers Day . . Love Danny & Family . . @dannydixxon @nicole_charde
