6 years ago yesterday Dixxon Was born.

Rewind a bit when this picture was taken. I had started Stay Gold Flannel co, with zero knowledge of clothing except screen printing. This shirt quickly gained attention in an interview posted with me on some sneaker magazine in the first 2 months of inception. It was sent multiple times to @bennygold , and due to my lack of knowledge i had no idea how i was infringing upon his trademark.
.
.
@bennygold hit me up , and gave me some extra time to move my product knowing i had put Everyhting i had financially into it with a baby at home and a growing family much like himself at that time.
.
.
I almost quit 12 times trying to figure out where to go and couldn’t imagine any other name , what i was going to do. I had my hopes up and then zapped so quickly , i felt it was easier to stop.
.
In this time , SIX YEARS AGO YESTERDAY, with the push of @nicole_charde @dixxon_flannel_co was born.
.
My first labels were designed on fucking Microsoft power point because it was the only program i knew how to use hahaha.
.
.
Since then...: man I’ve grown more in these 6 years , than the past 15. The things this brands has taught me about life, people, the world.
.
.
I’m not going to lie. I was a cocky young businessman, coming off a few wins. I thought i knew it all. The whole reason we ever adapted the work hard stay humble motto was due to my personal ass kicking i kept getting served , which was the best thing i ever got over and over and over again.
.
It brought me down. Taught me humility. Taught me perseverance. But it also taught me that i couldn’t be stopped. My will to survive was greater than the army against me, and i now find most comfort in battle.... to a fault honestly.

What a ride man. Thank you for coming along. Special thanks to @bennygold for being patient with me, you made a huge impact on me. Best of luck in your future as a creator
