Last year while @dannydixxon2.0 was in San Francisco, he was immensely inspired by the history and architecture. He took this photo on the drive between two different “worlds,” neighborhoods so rich with culture that they seem so far away.
I wanted to remind America not of the current status but the HOPE it took to survive. The gold rush provided hope and dreams for many out west and built much of this coast, which later lended itself to creating the culture we celebrate today.
Can we be the new hope? Can we rebuild as those of that era did?
It starts here. Everyday we must be THAT HOPE for our children. We must remember the history that’s made us.
