On March 15th, 2022, the family of 4-year-old Braxton Ackerman suffered an unimaginable loss following a tragic drowning accident that took his life. Braxton loved superheroes, tractors, and motorcycles, and he brought joy to everyone who knew him. His family is now determined to raise awareness about the dangers of drowning and prevent other families from experiencing the same heartbreak they've endured.
According to the Center for Disease Control, "More children ages 1–4 die from drowning than any other cause of death in the United States. It takes 30 seconds and is a silent killer." The Braxton Flannel is a tribute to Braxton's legacy, with a purple ribbon on the neck label symbolizing drowning awareness. A portion of the proceeds from the flannel will be donated to “Swim 4 Braxton,” a non-profit that supports initiatives such as building fences, fixing gates, and providing swimming lessons.
Let us continue to honor Braxton by spreading awareness about the importance of water safety and protecting our children.
The Braxton Flannel – Available on Sunday 3/12 at 5pm PT.
