After the Humane Society of Gainesville received an urgent message about a pregnant mama dog in a high kill shelter, they pulled her in time to get her into foster care to safely deliver her 11 puppies. About three weeks later more puppies came into the shelter and needed a foster dog mom so her original 11 puppies were gradually weaned and the vulnerable newborn puppies were successfully transitioned.
