Hey, mamas! We have some new followers (welcome to the duoFIT fam!), so I wanted to take a sec to introduce myself, the team and what our maternity activewear brand is all about.
I’m Kelsey, owner and founder of duoFIT. I have three kiddos (Carter, Kace and Tommy) and while I was pregnant with Kace (and chasing Carter around, who was a toddler at the time), I couldn’t find maternity leggings that would stay up and stay put during my workouts. I also felt like there was just a general lack of comfy, affordable maternity activewear options for moms on the go.
Thanks to a (not so gentle) nudge from my sister @haileebwalsh, I decided to do something about it and create maternity activewear that works as hard as the mamas who wear it. There are lots of details that fill the space between then and now, but here are some highlights:
⭐️ We are a team of moms. My sister-in-law @lbwalsh7 helps bring designs to life, is a style and marketing maven, and has the eyes of a hawk to pick up every detail. Her three daughters are just THE BEST!
⭐️ We are not fast fashion. We use a small batch production process, which means we make fewer than 500 pieces per year. Everything is made locally by our production partners @rightfullysewn here in Kansas City, MO.
