We didn’t purposely plan to launch our raffle with @leftysrightmind today, but it’s fitting that we did. While we still have a week to go before announcing the winner, we have raised thousands of dollars for Angels 4 Austin today🙏🏼 I can’t thank you guys enough for your continued support!
Last week, I received this pillow from Justin’s Aunt Michelle. It’s tradition that she needlepoints a special gift for each grandchild. She asked me if I still wanted the one she had started for Austin, and without hesitation I told her, YES.
If you know me well, you know I love crafts. Puzzles, Diamond Art, Beading… When I was on bedrest for 2 months, I took up needlepointing myself! Everyday when I was on the monitors, I would needlepoint as I listened to Austin’s heartbeat (It sounded like we were at the racetracks! We called him “Thumper”)
If you swipe right, you’ll see the needlepoint I made for my Austin. I planned to hang it on the door of his nursery, but after he passed I decided that it was something we both made together and he should take it with him to heaven.
Austin, my Angel - I miss you every minute of everyday. My new needlepoint pillow from Aunt Michelle brings me comfort when I hold it, and I hope the one we made together brings you comfort, too. I LOVE YOU.
