“Patience paid off as we dove all afternoon seeing schools of fish up to 70lbs, but no monsters. Made a good dive away from the school and this monster came up nervously from the abyss. I turned away and it seemed like forever but he eventually made a pass about 15ft away. Severed the spine and still took down all 3 buoys! The very next drift it really turned on and Yusei shot his biggest fish ever! 65kg and 50kg on the scale, what a blessing after 4 months off of diving!”
