Today, Jesus was crucified on the cross. Today is the day the Righteous One died for the sin of all mankind and offered His blood as atonement for our sins. We worship the One who didn’t just die today, He rose again in two days, defeating death and bringing us the opportunity to enjoy everlasting life with Christ.
Wherever you are in your walk with God, whether you are on fire, or joyous, or weary, or doubting, or hurting, or in lack, or sick, you can go back to the Word of God, be encouraged with the goodness and faithfulness He has displayed from the beginning and know without a shadow of a doubt that He will finish His work in your life. It all starts with the cross.
