When I ended the Rouccutane treatment when I was 18 (going on 19), my dermatologist started prescribing me stronger creams, one of which was the lighest version of this one, now called Oily Skin Solution. I started with 7% of Glycolic Acid (AHA), and made my way through the years until the highest concentration Neostrata has, pictured here, the Gel Plus Salicylic.
⚗️This has 15% of Glycolic Acid (AHA) and 2% of Salicylic Acid (BHA). It STINKS, it smells very very strong of chemicals, but I've been using for more than 3 years now so I'm used to it. It's very viscous and sticky until it's fully absorbed.
?As I said, I had to build "resistence" to it, and only last year I could apply it every night without my skin reacting to it. If you get to this point, this is pretty much a fantastic product, and I credit it for a lot of positive changes in my skin (once I learned how to properly use it, before...?).
?I'm close to finishing this bottle but I'm not gonna be repurchasing it. I read on their website that they do test in animals "if demanded by regulatory authorities..." so... ???
