The Queen becomes Britain's longest reigning monarch today as she surpasses Queen Victoria's 63 year reign. Her Majesty will have been our monarch for 23,226 days, 16 hours and 30 minutes by 5.30pm, just a few minutes longer than Queen Victoria.
The royal rowbarge Gloriana will join a flotilla on The Thames and church bells with ring out up and down the country to mark the occasion.
