Supreme Rock, known as "Rocky", was an Irish Sport Horse, ridden by Pippa Funnell for Great Britain in four event competitions. He was a bay, 16.3 hand high gelding. He's remembered fondly for his role in helping Pippa Funnell complete Eventing's Grand Slam: the pair won Badminton Horse Trials, the Kentucky Three Day and Burghley Horse Trials together. He also won two European Championships back-to-back: Luhmuhlen in 1999 and Pau in 2001. Even after helping Pippa Funnell win team Silver at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, Supreme Rock wasn't content - he went on to win Badminton twice in 2002 and 2003! He was forced to retire in the 2005 BHT and enjoyed a long and happy retirement spent hunting with his owner Emma Pitt. Rocky was sadly put to sleep in April 2013 at the age of 25.
