In Ella's own words: "Hi, my name is Ella and I am a 20 year old rider from south east England. I currently compete my 16.2hh ex racer, Bea, doing a bit of everything! We compete in unaffiliated showjumping and eventing alongside competing in the My Quest dressage league. In 2019, we qualified for the U21 National Championship in the My Quest league after coming 4th at the Regional championships. We are currently focusing on our showjumping with the aim to affiliate in 2021. Bea has shown huge potential for eventing, after coming 9th in our first ODE. We also enjoy participating in hunts and hopefully give team chasing a go! Outside of horses (when covid isn't around!), I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, chinese takeaways and a cuppa.
Some fun facts for you - Bea was ridden my AP McCoy and won 7 races, he also broke his pelvis during training and won his first race back after recovering! Now for me, that's the tricky part because I'm a pretty normal person. I went to uni to study psychology but decided it wasn't for me. I'm now working in design and advertisement, but I still love learning about psychology, philosophy and true crime."
