"Hello everyone! My name is Jessica Todd and I am 27 years old from Richmond, North Yorkshire. However, I rarely get called Jessica and I am referred to as Jess by both family and friends.
My passion is for British Eventing and I have two horses to compete this season. Gortfree Bounce is an 16.1hh 8 year old Irish Sports Horse who arrived last February from Ireland. We didn’t know whether he would take to eventing, however he has exceeded all expectations and we completed our first BE100 at Skipton at August. I would love to take Bouncer to the Grassroots Championships at Badminton, and I have all the faith in the world we can achieve this!
Hartfell Barney is an 15.3 11 year old Welsh Pony who has been part of the family since he was 4! Originally purchased for my brother, I then took over the ride two years later and we haven’t looked back! We have confidently been competing at 90 level and we have been placed at various events over the years. Currently, he is on his winter holidays but he will be back into work at the end of January and my aim for us this season is to compete for our Riding Club.
When I’m not riding, you’ll catch me walking my dog Norman who is my pride and joy! I also work full time as a Wedding & Events Manager so life is never boring!
